    Yessir. And is enshrined in the Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame as the inventor of car stereo! He was a really big deal in Los Angeles from the forties through the mid-eighties My avatar is a Muntz, as well.

    That's hilarious. I was gonna post something with words to that effect...It is really obvious in ALL of the photos though, isn't it? :)

    I had a Muntz "Blue Light" in my 61 T-Bird. Best one out at the time.

    Yep, Fords & Mercs mostly thru the whole family. The avatar was my Dad's Dry Lakes car that set many records for its' class. Engine was built under the guidance of Bobby Meeks at Edelbrock. It's a '40. www.bakerracingpix is me.

    On what is now So. Fairfax Ave., @ 1/4 to3/8 mile south of Stocker St. South Fairfax was a private road at that time which belonged to the petroleum producers in the area. The petroleum industries still own and operate at that site. Ref. Google maps, and scroll to So. La Cienega and Stocker St. if interested. Year was 1942, the last year sponsored by Chev. Dealers Assoc. due to WWII.[/FONT]
