Hanging with the BIG DOGS now.
I got to see Her Mink and meet Matt at the Indy World of Wheels this weekend. Matt has built a beautiful Hot Rod, and it will be driven a lot and soon. Thanks Matt good to meet you.
Matt, any chance you will display at Chicago World of Wheels?
Hey thanks so much!!
Ahh man, I wish - and I will try to in the future but right now my resources (or vacation time, money, and truck/trailer lol) are pretty limited.
Some of these guys do them all and I just don’t see how they get the time and money to make it happen.
Well, as you can see above - I finally got the car out of the garage and took it out to the Indianapolis World of Wheels. I definitely didn’t sit out to build a show car, but it’s a fresh build so it’s still shiny.
I had a great time, people loved the car. I actually brought home the only 2 ‘choice/pick’ awards that they even have, The Hi-Winders Pick and the Evan Mason Memorial Award. I think those ones mean a lot more to me than the ‘judged’ points award (But I did get 2nd in Traditional Hot Rod!)
Nice job, love the color.
Your a brave one letting the little one in the car with a lollipop.
Beautiful car! The awards are well earned.
Congrats @HerMink...still nubs on the tires...that's real fresh indeed...
Maiden voyage this weekend. Video is super low quality but the car sounds AMAZING.
Nice build thread and beautiful roadster.
I really like the color combination with the black frame. Frank
I can't believe I missed this thread Great looking car. It definitely has the look. Nice job!! Has some similarities to mine Bill
Sounds nasty! Well done.
That was a fun weekend, thanks to everyone who followed along. The car is a running, driving and stopping vehicle now but they are never finished. I currently have a polished hood, custom grill, and a couple of other things in the works. So, I will continue to post my updates here...
Very nice car. I look forward to seeing it in person...
I have always loved pictures of kids in cars
Great job! Good thing it doesn't have bumpers or you couldn't shut the garage door! I do the same thing, show them while they are fresh and they go have fun making them dirty. Enjoy! BB
Just a little update; car is driving great - had to iron out a few small things. Still have a couple more things to run to just get the speedo and tach working.
Holy hell, I don't know how I missed this. Very nice work it looks killer!
I hope it isn't fake being someone above has a picture of it!^^^^^^^^hahaha!
Had to pull her out of the garage this evening for the Hop Up virtual car show.
