Thanks! Yeah baffles are in but today we actually wrapped the baffles in heat wrap and started it back up. It made a big difference. It's sounds a little warmer and softer now that they're wrapped.

Hey here's a photo of the clearance above and below the tie rods.

Got the driveshaft last night. Had a local shop build me a 2" driveshaft per the sizing SoCal speed shop recommend I use for their frame without cutting the mid frame crossmember that looks really close. There's actually about 2" above the driveshaft so it's got some room to move. The metal wall is a lot thicker than normal as well. The joints are oversized truck joints so it should be nice a sturdy.

So that means you probably won't be spitting out the driveshaft during burnouts. :p

Not much of a picture but the body is all color sanded and ready for pickup. Going to get it first weekend of September.

Thanks a lot! Picking up the body this weekend. Going to clean it up and set it on the frame hopefully as long as this Hurricane doesn't hit us hard.

Another big day yesterday. Picked the body up, cleaned it up and placed it onto the frame. So happy with the color. We were able to roll it outside all day and have a bbq. Next up is wiring and glass.

Thanks a lot. Yeah I was nervous about the color for a while since the shade of the color looks different in so many kinds of lighting. Even the swatch we mixed up was hard to tell exactly what shade it was but it came out perfect.

Gee. The first pic of the body on the dolly had me worried. It looked like a bad scrape on the left rear quarterpanel. But all is OK, just a reflection of the stationwagon behind the camera.

Looks great! Wish mine was this far along.

Nah we had that built a while ago. My cousin would do a lot of the work on his own time so it was hard for me to document his progress.

Haha no way. I wouldn't have posted a picture of it without saying something first. Thanks though. It's been around 4 years into the project now.

Looks great guys! Looking at the pics of the car outside I see u built an x frame with some mounting panels I am guessing to separate the cab from the trunk. What are your plans to finish that? I am finishing mine on my coupe so was curious what you had planned.
