Wow, what a bummer. I was gathering parts to get ready to donate to the car. to people who doubted this, what a shame. I loved the idea but I too had problems that I knew that 32ford5 and I could of resolved but clearly what a disappointment about what happened. I read what trulyvintage said and I am totally 100% on your side 32ford5. I wish we could of built the car but I give you all my respect for what you tried and attempted to do. All the best to you. Good luck with everything!

Seems a little extreme to me that you would pull the plug on the whole deal because of what one guy has to say...you are telling us that because of what this one guy thinks about the project (and it must just be that one guy, because he is the only one you are villainizing), you are pulling out completely? Whats up with that?

You don't know that guy from Adam, a guy with under 500 posts who has only been around 2 years (nothing against that, btw)...compared to the heavy hitters who are behind it. Stop playing the victim, you had plenty of support for this deal.

NO offense! But now it will never get off the ground. I had all the faith in the world but now I don't think anyone will back the idea thanks to one dickhead, I hope he is happy.

I was in and really supported the idea and it is a shame. Bill was doing what he thought would be good for all of us. Enough said from me. I will allow you to return to your regular slamming the FNG's.

it's a sad day when we just can't see something for what it is/was.
A donation from a fellow hamber so we can all learn and achieve something, instead it just opens the door for people to critisise.

I'm going to assume the TrulyVintage get's a fair amount of business here on the HAMB. You would think it would be smart to just lay low and play it cool. If it was my business on the line, I would be afraid to jump out on a thread, guns blazing, and flat out kill it. Real bummer.

Oh, by the way, just so everyone knows that 32ford5 was legit, he offered me a model T body and unknown chassis for free if we want to continue the project. He wasn't trying to screw anyone. Unfortunately, the way he reacted and handled the situation (selling the coupe for $1) didn't help his image. But, for what it's worth, he was real.

it's too bad this had to end, I was going to try to get involved in it somehow, I don't exactly have the money to start my own traditional project, with being laid off, I have my project, but it would be really nice to have found a way to get involved in something this cool. :(

After over SIX HUNDRED posts telling people that he was trying to give the coupe to the Hamb members in some way, and was on the verge of making an announcement that the ownership issue had been sorted out, I think 32ford5's overreaction to trulyvintage's accusatory post was understandable. Unfortunate, in terms of the project but understandable.

Perhaps if a project like this does get off the ground, an invitation should be extended to 32ford5 to participate. His answer will probably be short, and not very polite, but asking him will show that people believe in his idea.

A good example of not knowing how to keep a lid on things.

Bill is a good dude. Trying to do something good.

I take a lot of the blame as well...
