quick question, hope i dont sound stupid, but why are there so many cars in the woods in the midwest and east coast? and why arent there any like that out here in LA?

  11. yea,:D they just fall from the sky right in to your lap

  12. This must be about the only roadside wreck in the UK I guess. It's a 1946/7 Rover P2/P3 "crossover" model. Unfortunately it's way too far gone body-wise to be resurrected. The chassis looks reasonable though and the engine seemed to be substantially complete - I would have liked to have tried to turn it over but had no tools. Strangely, the number plate was still there.

It has been "hot rodded" because it is fitted with an early Jaguar straight six instead of the original Rover engine. If the chassis is usable and the engine can be rescued it might make the basis for a traditional English style "Special".

I dunno what east coast your referring to but development has since crushed most everything around me. People like to hide it, keep it from daylight if they have it. You midwest guys with your land have it easy. That said in my town alone (2 sq miles) of NYC metro Jersey I know of a 53 chevy, 40 coupe, 54 ford, something that lies behind a garage door with a deuce shell on it. There's stuff around and hidden but nothing like that midwest stuff. But yea I'll take one of those 30/31 coupes if you don't mind.

This is parked outside a little store in Moca, Puerto Rico. Apparantely been there awhile. No tailights, only kerosene lanterns.

THAT is really interesting. Looks like it could be real nice but whomever stuck that spare on the back and those ugly taillights should be flogged.

Wonder what that is? The top was probably made out of the aftermarket fiberglass hardtop from the Fiat spider in front of it (same shape).

Ironically out in the middle of the country side and I don't really remember where I saw it, but the ones that are close to home I don't have pictures of. I just happened to have the camera this day.

I know where a 50 or 51 merc 2dr is and the guy wont sell it. I used to know where a 38 Ford p/u with the same story was but it disappeared a few years ago
