All I got was Vise Grips and Tin snips...no '40 Standard in my driveway I think I got screwed (once again)
P.S. That's one straight looking coupe. Nice score
Bueno! That car looks like it's a 15 year old used car. How are the floors and engine?
Santa must have left all the best gifts south of the border before he headed my way.
Apparently it was parked since 1981, the floors are in good condition. About the engine, the carburetor was missing, the water pumps were glued, the springs of the coals of the starter got rid of the corrosion, all that is already in the process of repair
mmmm I think you don't have to behave very well
Yes, My poor behavior may have something (everything) to do with it
That's a solid looking coupe. You're gonna have fun with it!
At least you got vise grips, Jack. Haha, in a gift bag from one of the nieces, I got a scented candle with a TOBACCO scent........think about that for a moment.
Nice coupe, Potsie (remember Happy Days?)
Delivered my mistake that was for me , great looking car , 40 standard is the pic of them for me out of 39/40 ,oh well I will make do with my 39 sloper
As you can see in the photos, it brings wheels of all sizes, fortunately I already found the four with old tires, but the wheels are 15"
wow is that clean.
Nice score. I'm drooling.
Santa knew I didn't have room for anymore! Glad he took it to a Hamb member rather than someone we couldn't watch! lol Nice Car!
A nice complete car, perfect for whatever your plans might be.
And he didn't damage it getting it down the chimney!! Great start, keep us up on your progress.
Nice looking car
Hey TX57, that's a great gift...light one of those candles up and maybe the wife wouldn't send me out to the garage to smoke my cigars
I will try to save the old upholsery that the 40 brings, first a mega wash and clean the rivets, the last photo is from the cover of the driver's door already clean.

Wait... what you got a merc too?
What the heck does Euzkadi mean?
Wait that's not a mercury, it's just a shelf to dry out 40s Ford's upholsery , jajajajaj
a Mexican brand of tires, which in the 30s made a convention with BF Goodrich, to manufacture tires under its technical specifications. check this page https://www.euzkadi.mx/auto/la-marca
..........well, you’ve come to the right place, we can give advice on how to wash it...............
Nice car, really nice car !
Looks solid and straight. Sweet.
Euzkadi by BFG. On the spare tire. Santa was good to you.
Wow! Great looking '40! Love those '40 Standard Coupes, but I'm just a little biased.
I tell you, quality of builds coming from the North Pole aren't what they should be. Great looking car!
It is not the spare tire, it is the 4 tires. I am missing the spare part
Wow, all I got was a pair of socks and a piece of A-- and they were both to big.
