HEre aer my subs fer dis week. It is a helmet I did for the 48 Chevy Pick up I posted a while back. I am (just finished) working on a 55 Chevy Drag car. Painted most of the moldings and emblems on the car and ghost (phantom) flames with blue pearl. There is a hood I did from a truck as well.

Working on a series of TOOL images for 'workshop' walls.. I always watch this thread, a chance to participate..

Image size is 13 x 16.5, Floated over a 18 x 24 sheet of aluminum. Signature is hammered into sheet copper , also raised. Framed w/ oxidized aluminum frame. First in a series of 3-5. The last of the view cameras..

Knowing how killer your carvings are I can wait to see it.
    :)

  10. Great show all.

  11. Damn, I just got back from the races and realized I hadn't checked out this week's FAS. You guys are amazing! The only painting I've been doing is on my bike, and it's seriously O/T.

  12. Great show this week, everyone! You all shine bright.

yamadafacka: I dig your striping and design work!

Just got back from the Roundup in Austin. Amazing the the art show is still up but I know where some of you have been.
Just going to post this one up.
It was really great meeting up with fellow artists and a whole lot of great HAMBers.

  16. stinsonart; That is the Koolest Deuce i've seen today.. sedans rule !

Bill that challenge was fun !
I reluctantly used a magazine photo as reference for car & girls ( lucky- second page I flipped to on 1st mag. I picked up ). I added the jet fighter from memory of Gloster Meteor which is parked at local airport. No pencil- straight into the ink pot. Way under 10 minutes painting + about 2 min set- up. Find camera + charge battery ( 15 seconds and hope !)- shoot shot ( settings ?.. no time for that ! ) & around 7 hairy minutes in IPhoto & Photoshop- paper was torn @ top left corner..

Thanks man but I gotta get back to the world - it's Monday morning here !
