I don't think Abomber30 or his Dad would appreciate 20,000 people showing up at their doorstep...:D

That would be a vendor spot.

Yeah, the swap is for used/vintage car parts ONLY. For anything else, contact me. We're in the process of updating the website now and will probably open vendor registration in May. We haven't discussed pricing yet, but we haven't changed it in at least 6 years, so I doubt we will this year! Figure on $100/spot. We'll announce it on the HAMB when we open registration.

I missed last years due to illness....but hopefully I'll be there this year. Might have to do onsite camping to help keep cost down...but I'm game.

Went to Mapquest looking for a likely area for this to be taking place, none found.
Could anybody give me a location of where in Decatur? Maybe a larger intersection near it, or relationship from the airport?

    Thanks.....Roger

From the airport , go north to 105. then west to brush college road , then straight north from there.

Not sure if that link will take you to the map. If it doesnt just copy and paste it into google.

Mac & Nick.....Thanks much. I wasn't having any luck finding a "Progress City" within the confines of Decatur. I had noticed that area, but had no way of knowing if it was a housing development.

    Thanks, again.....Roger

It's not a housing development. It is an area specifically designed for ONE thing: The Farm Progress Show. The buildings to the south of it are Richland Community College which is in charge of curating the site. Everything around Progress City is farmland. I don't know what you're looking at. From an aerial map it may look like and undeveloped housing area because the show are is bisected by "streets"

Click on the link. It works. Lindross' link works, too. The green and burnt out grassy areas are 100s of acres of spectator parking. The area checked by little roads is the show area.

  19. Maybe this will give you a rough idea of the location. SSE of the I-72 & 48 intersection.

Is the lot (main show area) paved? Is there a web site that would have pix of the ground's?
