I love "The Adonis" Great Kustom!
Here's my project... kept the handles cause its a driver, rebuilding and lowering suspension before the snow melts, doing interior in white over the summer, and adding some scallops and stuff later. Sorry bout the crappy photo, only one I could find. LOVE seeing the big Pontiacs in this thread...
some damn cool cars on here...... but this one looks like H.R puff n' stuff
A step back in time....
One of fellow HAMBer Special Ed's cars....not only talks the talk, but walks the walk.
Diggin that 55!
Oh man. That's achingly cool. It's amazing all '55s aren't built that way.
Damn Rick, you have all the cool pictures...keep them coming.
Interesting treatment on the doors of this square bird, eliminated the reveal (bullet shape) in the doors and stopped it just behind the door...I've never seen anyone else do that. I'm guessing this is a 59 and this was done to shave the side trim without having to patch the 5 mounting points. Ive seen one that stopped the fin short of the door to make shaving the handles easier, but never the door reveal.
Love to know the exact colors used on this one.
I saw this mag on the new stand when I was twelve, while Christmas shopping "downtown" with my folks.
I've been a fan of the Adonis ever since!
