Maybe not yours, but a worthy addition to the thread. GREAT color for that car.

I've already posted my '56 here, but I s'pose this qualifies as a mild custom too (maybe not -- most people don't notice that it IS a custom):

Wow! Somehow I've missed this thread for the past couple years!
So here's my contribution. 64 Electra & 56 Chevy, both of which I try to keep period perfect.

What a thread!!! Especially liking the more homegrown, budget stuff that folk have done. Simple, clean, affordable cars with small and subtle mods. Alot to learn from and given me alot of ideas for my own ride. Thanks to all that have posted and keep the budget stuff coming!!!

    All the best Dan

Selfless promotion? Yes there are some mild customs, but a lot of other stuff, I guess you just wanted someone to visit your blog.

As mild as they come, added skirts and twin pipes with glasspacks, and a few bullets to the grill to my 1960 Buick.. I may add twin rear antennas ala the 59 Impala, but that's it for me folks.. probably would not even be considered "custom" at all by most, I guess I'm too conservative.. but I do love and appreciate all customs..

This is my mild custom. Everything was done at home or a home shop garage. Friend did air bags at his home we did all the body work, frenching, peaking, molding, sanding, primering etc. a friend shot the paint. We installed motor trans. Other then drive train car has a mild 50's kustom look to it. Hence moldings on etc

  28. I couldn't agree more. Seems when someone says Tri-5 most people immediately think streetrod, pro-touring, or gasser. I think they look SO much better as a mild custom. Dr. Dave's is my all time favorite.
