    DSCN2830.JPG DSCN2840.JPG DSCN2911.JPG DSCN3031.JPG DSCN2880.JPG DSCN2906.JPG DSCN2984.JPG This is what I'm working on this winter- '31 Model A coupe, un chopped, 327 V-8 , 10:1 compression, 3/4 cam, Offy intake with 4-- '94 s, PG or 350 tranny ( have both) 10 bolt posi rearend, disc front, drum rear brakes, etc.
Not everyone's "cup of tea", but it keeps me out of trouble ( sort of).

Another example of welding dust to build a car. An East Coast Tradition!

Sorry if this is all mixed up- so's the guy posting it!

This is going to be a tough looking little coupe. I love the photo of it assembled.

Not everybodys cut of tea true but I like the look. Only thing I'd change is I'd want to row a 4 speed in it!

DSCN2972.JPG DSCN2968.JPG Thanks all... this was a whole new world for me 14 years ago ( still learning and always will be)

This is for all you "backyard builders" who still do it the old fashioned way ( with SOME help thanks to electricity!) DSCN2969.JPG DSCN3007.JPG

  21. Last time I saw a Wallace plate it was hanging in a bar in Al in 1969. All we northern boys did was ask about it and it turned into a night to remember. Just another time it was good to have a fast car.
What type of welder are you using. Your work is excellent.
    Thanks for posting

I want to put it on the street so I can run it and work out the bugs ( always a few)
It would be cool to get it down the 1/4 mile, but extensive testing will be done prior to that.
There was a blue coupe from Conn. for sale on here last year that got the wheels turning.
Had lots of parts and figured , why not give it a try?

A lot of guys like to whine about the 10 spoke front runners you are using but I think they really work on the front of your car. It looks like it means business.

I bought those 10-12 years ago for my green coupe and paid " all the money" for them. I know they're "wanna be's" , but I had them, and I'm using them! DSCN3065.JPG

I see in one of his pictures that he is using a Lincoln.

Nice job on the car Mike. I've seen what you've done in the past and am sure this one will be just as nice!

No sawmills involved with this one, but it had been converted to a PU ( probably during WWII for extra gas). The back end looked like it had been re-worked with a ball peen hammer and a 12 guage.
I patched one up a couple of years ago , so knew what I was up against sort of.

Love that sign, originally from Conn. Living south of the mason dixon line now for work but I'm called a Yankee all the time ! Proud of it too. You sure can stitch an A together, great job
