I agree about what you consider classy but I find it at odds with posting this car with that paint job. To me this is no different than any other wild paint job and is not the look of a classy kustom.
Beautiful car, awsome profile...but the paint IMO does nothing, I would love to see it in a solid dark color
First of all, love this thread. Secondly, I have to agree that this doesn't quite make it to "classy" for me. Perhaps it's the exposed hinges on the trunk, or the taillights that should be lower or something. As for paint, the gold almost dirty's the silver IMO. I too, would like to see it in a dark color. Keep the inspiration coming....
I wonder if that red Dick Dean chopped 50 has a place on this list ? I would post a pic but I dont know how to do it.
I'd say that it does... One of my favorite pics of your car besides the ones that Luke did in your article.
Thanks man! I just wish I would of had my goodyear supercushion tires on when this pic was taken...... they just fill up that wheel opening so much better then these tires did. Oh well though, thanks slow & low, for posting.
Anytime! Maybe Luke will come on here and post the ones he took for the article. He captured your car perfectly!
Agreed... beautiful car ,never thought I would like a Kustom that was brown...glad to be proven wrong though!
Jeff's 4dr Merc......This is the only lousy picture I have, but the car is fabulous, and the interior is absolute elegance.....
Thanks for that , I dont know about having it all.Its getting a new engine right now so thats a step towards having it all. Thanks for the kind words about the car.
Paucho.... You have posted some seriously gorgeous kustoms on this last page. Daves shoebox...... my favorite one of all time.
man - I can not believe how many nice rides are on this thread.......... just when you think you are done seeing all the cool cars - more pix pop up! wow THANKS for all that have contributed - amazing stuff! I have just spent over 30 minutes on this thread alone - I gotta go to bed..........
Nope you can't. IMO the greatest 49-51 Merc ever built. Low, Dark flowing, classy and even a bit sinister. Perfection!
