Love the headers Chris. Thanks for the kind words.

I agree with moving the grille up. Good decision.

Nice set of lake pipes! And that cone made a good work stand until you needed it.

In the next few weeks we'll be offering lake kits as well as V8 and flat head header kits. And we're an Alliance vendor so you save money! Check it out www.coneeng.com

That is looking excellent. Do you have a part number or model for the dual master cylinder?

Thanks man, yer headers look SiCk,, I'll share a secret with you on fitting tubes to headers, cones etc,, I machine different size ends for my belt sander, these ends determine the O.D of the header tub, this allows for a perfect fit,, on any angle, keeping them all inline. Keep up the work, chit looks Sick ~S

  16. You should post those headers in the Friday ART show.. seriously!

Thanks, this is my first set, I have ever built, like this.
For these I just used good old hand files, beltsander, alot of fitting and grinding.
If I had to do more of these, I would do what you did.

Only for big $$$, it's alot of work:eek:
Thanks, Heartbeat graphics, how about "Coby on the Jackalope" painted on the side:D:D:D
Your exhaust flanges are by far the best on the market.
Yeah, tig. As for cleaning up the welds, I use a several grinders, regular grinder with flapper discs, pneumatic grinder (2.5" disk) several grits, palm sander, scotch bright pads, and several different diameter, metal files, etc, etc, everything and anything that works.
No, thats just a regular, over the counter MC, nothing special.

    Oh, stop it.
    Thanks, bro

Headers look good!! They are pretty tricky to weld w/out warping huh?? kind of a bitch!! at least you got time on your side. No rushing!! I hate rushing! I got to Rush now!!!...anyways, it's good to see all the skills the Germans taught you. Ah Ha Ha Ha....

Sick work dude. I really enjoy following this. your metalwork is very impressive but I'm waiting for when wood work comes into play. Do you have plans in crafting something in wood for this car? I liked the stachions you built for your boat-tail and wondered if you had something crafty in the works for "the one".

it was good to see ya at primer nats.

Damn it Chris! I was gonna do this as well on my 30/31 Sport Coupe build. Looks like you beat me to it, its all good. The build is looking good thou bro! Keep up the good work. Do you have a deadline you are planning on having her done by?

Dash: I’m taking the easy, “less is more” approach, filled in the original gas tank, gauges and drilled holes for the Stewart Warner gauges.

I'm going to stay away from the wood, I just have to replicate some original stuff, but thats about it.

I'm not rushing this car, but I plan to get it done, by spring 2009.
