    Thanks guys.
I'm excited about getting it whacked.
We chopped 5 inches to start.
The plan is to end up with about 6 inches out of the front and 5.5 inches in the back.
The a pillars will get laid back about 3 degrees also.
Should be pretty sinister looking when it's all buttoned up.

We are gonna sneak up on it from here. I want a little angle to the chop and the cowl is already cut to lay back the A pillars.

The car is going to have a serious purpose-built competition vibe to it. So the the aggressive chop is going to look like it belongs.

Stay tuned, more pics will be posted as progress is made.

Not quite, but I will say that I have studied that picture at great length and was heavily influenced by that car. ;)

    More chop pics very soon...

I can't explain how excited I am to see this thing come together. I told Jo today that when I saw these pics I had a little "pinch me" moment. I can't believe this thing is mine. Never in my wildest dreams...

I kinda like the layed back A pillars, keeps you from cutting the top into a million pieces. Looking mean!

Mark, this one is a keeper for sure. I've got way to much heart and soul into this one. That may sound funny coming from someone that isn't actually building the car, but I have countless hours into planning out every last detail in this thing.

God willing, this coupe and my '34 are gonna be around a long time.

I've never been a big fan of much over 4" chops on 32's or leaned A pillars, BUT, i REALLY like the profile!!

And i don't blame you for making it a keeper! I know exactly what you mean. :D

Jo was installing some better lighting in his shop this weekend, so he rolled her outside.

Looks kinda mean in the daylight. :D
