That's about as good as a Model A coupe can be. I'm impressed. You said you had some other color ideas besides black. None of my biz but I do too. I can see the car in different color, actually inspired by the motor/wheel color. While just plain white would suck, and yes even Wimbledon White (old Ford color) would suck too, I can see the car in the PPG Vanilla Shake. It's in the Vibrance color deck, color number 90990. It looks like Fench Vanilla ice cream. Some black and burnt orange pinstripes here n there and maybe stripe the wheels in the body color.

Black is bitchin and almost a 'can't miss' deal but I think something this special...ok sorry man, I'm done.

Yes, I'm fortunate that I have a friend that's willing to let me use his lathe. I've been doing some of the easier jobs myself, and if I can't handle it, I go see Bob Wilson.

Yes, finally got the laptop back. Anyone who has Pm'ed me without a reply over the past month, I apologize. You can direct your hate mail to Quality High Tech off of Forest Lane in Dallas, TX. :)

Jeez man...I'm not THAT expensive. My shop rate is actually pretty low by today's standards. Or maybe kidneys aren't worth as much in today's economy?

    Hi Dale!

Me too! It took some persuasion, but Bubba finally caved to my obsession with Strombergs.

Thanks for the comments guys..they are much appreciated!

Awesome! This is exactly the way I would build my 1931 coupe if I could. I think I should start over after looking at this!

Excellent work! You said you changed the springs to bring it down in the rear did you remove leaves or change to different springs altogether?

Thanks...it's a different spring from my parts stash. I'm not really sure what it's out of, but I suspect it may be a '35-36 front spring.

Being a one-man shop, it's fairly difficult for me to juggle multiple projects...and I'm fortunate that Bubba has been very patient and understanding. His coupe is coming back up in the rotation very soon.
