The side shots really show the pancake effect of the hood graft. I'm really glad that you pointed this out, or I would never have noticed, being just the opposite of what one might expect. Very subtle, but very much a defining element of the car!
Update: block sand, block sand, block sand. The car will need a new name because it will no longer be black. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Yes,there really needs to be a gathering of shoebox at the GNRS! I just booked flight tickets,hotels etc.to LA for the end of january.So,it looks like my(2 week long)great escape from snowy hell to some warmer place is going to be true.GNRS has been on my bucket list for a long time,so i am going to be there.
