Back in October I wrote a short post about the joy of unearthing crusty old cars that have been hibernating for years. I try not to get too excited till things actually happen, and money changes hand...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Square birds rule, what peaks my interest are those little gauges on the bottom right. That could mean several things...
U R a teez - You now have all of us on the edge of our seats waiting to see what they are and your verdict. And of course some pix. "Not too excited," huh? You didn't hide that very well.
(Teaser !) Bull Shit....... You know You've got us hangin' by Our Thumbs. Quote: "That Shit Ain't Right" Willie
Caught my eye. especially the 'Motor Minder' (vacuum gauge) next to the amp gauge. Think this one belonged to an old man. Is there an altimeter too?
What an exciting time! We all dream of finding that one great car, or 3! This Summer I found an original and complete 57 Chevy 2 door post!! Not for sale right now, but I know where it is! Have fun, looking forward to the pictures!
As if there is any doubt in your mind whether it's worth all that hassle......... The first time you get one of them running it's bring a smile to your face like none other. Good luck on your trip and hope to see pics real soon (Video of them running would be cool too) moe .
Yes you have to get them, even if one is a T-bird. Hard to match that Riviera of yours. BTW if you're moving cars a ways, I've had great experiences with Safe-Way Auto Transport, out of KY. Moved my truck from Marfa to Maine right on schedule at the right price. And have a look at www.autoliterate.blogspot.com sometime. Enjoy the beach.
Personally, I like a 409. Done as clean as your Riv http://autoliterate.blogspot.com/2013/03/1964-chevrolet-biscayne-409.html
