I got into a fight with my brother Charlie. Had a decal sheet that had the driver's name of "Chuck Farley" so I rearranged a few letters.

So many good decals! Two of my favorites are the Astro Wheels, and the Chrondek timer decals.

I have one of these Chevies I built in the 70's.

QUOTE="Dan Hay, post: 14348341, member: 30299"]Really cool. The sad thing is that if you want to use them when they are that old, it can be a challenge. It helps to use modern solutions to soften them up and get them to lay on the surface without wrinkling or breaking.

Round 2 models is reissuing a lot of old AMT and MPC kits with brand new vintage decals. Here is the decal sheet from their recent 37 Chevy coupe release..., and my build up of it. View attachment 5286877 View attachment 5286878

I just watched Teenage Thunder:confused:.......... definitely flashbacks of the problems of our troubled parents trying to connect to their hoodlum, unappreciative son.;)
    I won’t spoil the unbelievable ending........

Reminds me of building model cars as a kid. I ran into a bunch of early models from the 50’s at a yard sale. Funny thing was, all the early Ford kits like the ‘32, A and T were made of black plastic, with red wheels. Looks like proof to me that combination is traditional, may be out of fashion now, but they didn’t pick that color for nothing.

This very cool badge-medallion is from a line of cast iron wood burning stoves, the one I posted was given to me a couple of months ago, from a good friend, that had found it at a swap meet-flea market, 30 years ago! It's really a nice piece, it's a high quality art-deco piece with cloisonné inlay as well!
