Wonderful artist with an uncanny ability to display motion and emotion in his sketches. He would regularly post his work on the Friday Art Show threads. I've missed his illustrations lately...so glad he's back at it!
Great stuff and DAMN that footage of the Beast is just too cool! I love that he let's you hear that thing in all its glory with no music to drown it out! That car truly is a beast that's just awesome to behold!
I've long admired Stefan's work ... I included some of his artwork in my The Markley Bros BELLY TANK: A Pictorial History thread: "1962 Markley Bros Belly Tank" by Stefan Marjoram ©2010 ... and his videography & photography was the basis of my 1911 FIAT S76 Runs For 1st Time In Over 100 Years! thread.
Don't know if this a "saying" for sure but his work is Artistry in motion. He sure can make sketches look like they are moving. Thanks for the cool post. Joe
That is some good stuff. Having taken probably 100 photos of Clayton's roadster over the past few years I can say he really captured the car and the feel of the car when you are around it.
Amazing talent to be able to capture so much detail while really not using a lot of detail at all. Outstanding.
Incredibly talented Artist on so many levels. Really enjoyed the art and yeah The Beast is very fitting. A Hotrod for ripping round the castle. The gearing must be quite high...low revs real fast and so cool. Thanks for sharing.
A modern renaissance man of art, photography, machines... and who knows what more? I also discovered his work right here on the HAMB a few years back. AB FAB. Gary
Absolutely love his sketch work. Every pencil stroke is perfect. Love the looseness of his work. It looks so effortless, yet I know I could spend hours trying to draw or sketch and never really be satisfied with my own results in which it probably takes him minutes to create something amazing. Thanks for posting the feature on Stefan Marjoram. Enjoyed it!
Thanks Ryan for the mention - and everyone else for all the wonderful comments - it's great to hear people are enjoying my sketching trips. I get distracted by stuff and barely manage to keep my website up to date - but I promise to start visiting the Friday Art Show again!
