isn't he a member here or was that on the old chrome czar message board? he was building a modified I think. I sold him some air cleaners I believe.

  6. Awsome, unique talent.

  7. Very cool.
His style of the way he does rough to semi finished backgrounds reminds of a pastel artist Harley Brown. A big fan of his work.

  8. That first pic with the track roadster is a painting of @Bass 's latest project.

Etienne gets it! Love the bare bones style, especially the Hindenberg Bangers picture. Thanks for the early art show Ryan.

I had seen one of his paintings some time back, and will now have to check out his IG.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention Ryan.

Etienne and I drove this Rolling Bones built hot rod from their shop in New York to the Bonneville salt flats, and then on to the Hot Rod Hill Climb in Colorado. He's also a great photographer and a very knowledgeable vintage hot rodder. He's a very humble guy and lots of fun to hang out with.

Thanks a lot to Ryan for this Jalopy Journal post, it's an honor for me. Thanks to all of you for your comments, as well. Some of you are right, I've been there since 2001 or so (member 523 !), but I need to confess, I havn't post for a while. Yes I was already on the Old Czar board ! I will post a update on my modified project soon.
Anyway, if you want see more of my painting and follow my next artworks, I don't have a dedicated website for now, but you can follow me on instagram (https://www.instagram.com/etienneempire32/) and on my facebook art page (https://www.facebook.com/theArtofEtienneButterlin).

  26. I dig all of it! Very awesome compositions and art in motion. Something tells me that he and my good friend Sanjay could talk for hours about art and painting hot rods, I won't jack this thread by posting pictures but for anyone who cares, here is a link.

Etienne, do you remember when I talked you into coming to the small Road Devils car show in Bottrop in 2001or 02 or so, cause I wanted you to pinstripe my 56 Chevy? How time runs hahahaaa.... , the Chevy is still proudly wearing your artwork!
