Here's some photos I've taken of John Budda's 1957 210 Sport Coupe, the 2009 Goodguys' Kustom of the Year. It's an old Washington kustom saved and then brought back to life by the father and son team of Claude & Russ Freund. I'm lucky enough to know both the Freund and Budda families personally, so I've had the opportunity to be around this car from its start to finish. Here is a couple pics of mine in its current state. It started as a 4 door. The black 57 is one I am building for a friend.

Here's one I owned...circa 1966/'67 (and about 29 others I owned at the time) ...no one wanted them...mine was a "gasser" on the street...



and of course, my favorite "mouse" airbrushed sweatshirt cuz I owned a "Highland Green" 150 at the time...this about 1961...



and then this one I owned in the very early '80's...



I still have one, but it's not HAMB friendly, so I won't post it.

This was mine about 17-8 years ago. Picture it with chrome reverses, lowered a bit with skirts and a chromed up six with three carbs. Made it look like this to sell it.

 

Since this post floated back to the top, it so happens that I recently posted an article with a bunch of local '57 Chevy pictures that I've taken recently.

Also, here's one my dad had when I was a youngster. This fantastic color photo ( ) was taken with one of those old Polaroid cameras that had that paper you had to peel back with the nasty goo that could burn you. That camera was a big deal--it even came in its own red velvet-lined hard, latchable case.

57BelAir - awesome car and awesome history! I can't imagine there are many one owner 57's out there, and if there are, the 57 has probably been sitting out in the field for 30 years. Yours has to be the only one of its kind!
