Event Coverage The 2nd annual Lone Star Deluxe Car & Music Expo, Texas City TX 04-26-14

Howdy Guys!

It's that time again folks, my best friends & I are proud to announce we are hosting the 2nd annual Lone Star Deluxe Vintage Car,Truck, Motorcycle & Music Expo in Texas City, TX on April 26th!!! Last year was a ton of fun & we were incredibly thankful for the 70 cars, 10 motorcycles & over 1000 spectators for our first year!

If you didn't have a chance to make it out this is what we have to offer:

#1- 5 bands
#2- Pin up contest hosted by Miss V
#3- A mini billy contest for kids 12 & under
#4- Trophies
#5- Food & Craft Vendors
#6- A fund raiser for a local charity TBD
#7- Big E spinning some records outside
#8- Moon walks for the kids

And much much more!!!

We pride ourselves in making this a complete family friendly show, we try hard to bring a little something for everyone. Here is the flyer, please help us spread the word & make this year even bigger & better than last!

I enjoyed the show last year. I will definitely go this year. It's a neat venue, and the show has great potential to get big. Plus, Sam is just a darn nice guy.

 

This is one of my fav local shows..great venue...Sam and crew did a great job...I'm in for this again

I'd love to go ,but that's the same weekend as Pate swapmeet. I haven't missed it in 31 years. Sounds like a good venue.

 

The show date was determined by availability to rent the cities venue, I understand that Pate is that same weekend & believe me when I say I can NEVER compete with a great show like that but I also know that there are a bunch of guys that can't afford to head out there or come back after Friday because they feel all the good stuff is gone. Either way I wish success to all the shows going on that day!

Hard to believe it's been a year already. Looking forward to it.

 

Let's see, I can do Pate on Thursday on a day trip, rest Friday and do Lone Star Deluxe on Saturday. Yeah that oughta work, look forward to seeing everyone again this year. Save me a spot to park!

My EVERYTHING decided to crash on me so I have been away from the HAMB for a couple weeks! Plans are coming along great & we even added some new events, entertainment & a few other things.

@brokenspoke & 65gregg let me know what time you think you might be there and I will take care of you guys!

@richard- you're telling me! Hell I'm back to runnin 24/7 for the show!

Sam PM'd me & said about the same thing. Was in Galveston back in Dec & went to the Dickens on the Strand deal. Checked out the surrounding area & made our way up to Kemah, but the weather was pretty ugly. Looking forward to seeing the sights with a little warmer temp & some good ol' Texas sun.

 

We are only 7 days away and I'm runnin like a mad man trying to finish everything up before next Saturday! I hope you guys all make it we are trying some new things this year that I think will improve our show.

Well unfortunately our first attempt at the "Best of Show" award didn't pan out so I am planning on sacrificing one of my 53 caddy hub caps with some killer stripping as the award. Not as cool as a hand made trophy but believe me, it wasn't cheap & I pains me to do it haha! Oh well, the show must go on! See you all Saturday!

Man I didn't realize it was this weekend! Missed last year cuz I wussed out and didn't want to drive in the rain with no wipers. Going try to get there my @ss there early this year, wouldn't want to miss out two years in a row.
