  1. Does it help to know Pat is a HAMBer?

    I went with #1.

#4, #5, #6, #9 & #10 were hard not to choose but #1 is just too amazing not to pick.

Everyone of the entries are worthy. It was tough but I ended up narrowing it down to #1 and #3. #1 got my vote because it captured my imagination more. That flathead is a work of art. And I'm not normally a T guy.

  7. Would love to have any or all of them, but 1, 4 and 5 stand out from the rest.
4 gets my pic. Me loves some Bass.

  9. It's a T roadster....T-buckets have a shortened box or just a tank on the back

Number 1 for me, it just reminds me of all those AMT 3 in 1 Kits I built in the 1960's only this one is in real life.

This is a trad Hot Rod all the way and there for should be awarded the "TJJ Best Roadster Award" for 2011 -PERIOD- This is the style of car you would see on the dry lakes, the drags and the streets during Hot Rods best times. IMHO.

  21. #1 is #1. This is a car show, right?

    29 on 32 rails #3 clean&simple

  23. Being that it's the Grand National Roadster show I had to go with #1. That thing is what the show is all about. It's the type of car that should be printed on everything used to promote the show.

However, #4 was a VERY close second. It is my personal favorite overall. I followed the build on here and I have to say the car and its design are simply amazing.

  24. Maybe not the most innovative, but I love #2.

Truth. I feel like the Take Out T exemplifies a GNRS and HAMB car both at the same time. Finally there's a fucking car that blurs the line of an all out show car meant to compete with the big dogs and a traditional Hot Rod meant to be driven.

We have seen in the Take Out T thread that this damn car is a triple threat.

-Built by a normal guy in a two car garage with the help of his friends and club the EMPERORS. It wasn't built by a professional shop (not that there's anything wrong with it but I think you should get a few more point if you built the car)

-Driven in California to the local Sonic with out worry of making the car dirty and unpresentable. Also all while having a ton of fun.

-Lastly it stands up to anything in that show from what I have seen the past two years of attending and the cars that have been shown so far. It's a full tilt show car that deserves all the best and our support as a community.

I'm a mere mortal so picking the best of this bunch IS impossible.........every one deserves a #1. However, after going back and forth until my head hurt #5 gets my vote. It's as much a vote for the builder as the car but I'm certain that this one has got to be the best researched and period correct one of the bunch. That and the fact Pat has given so much to the hot rod community puts it over the top for me.
Next year build 10 trophies and give every contender one. Have all of the trophies exactly the same but progressively taller by one thousands of an inch (0.001). Then the winners will only know which one got #1 if they bring their micrometers to the awards ceremony:eek::cool::D!!!
