This is the thread of all threads for the car (or truck) of all cars (or trucks). Because... if its not a 40 ford it may as well be a Prius. (That will probably get this thread deleted)

Post anything 1940 Ford related in here!! Are you a nerd with a turd or a jock with a big block? If its a 1940 Ford... Post up a picture!!

Or, maybe the neighbor across the way has one... Post up a picture!

Do you have a toy or a drawing or an old picture of a 1940 Ford... Post up a picture!

Did you burn your toast or spill some milk, and the image revealed is of a 1940 Ford... Post up a picture!

We have a thread for '40 Fords and I think another would just clutter up the site.

Should this post not have been saved for a tire tread? I mean thread?

Why is it on the Majority 40 Fords it seems to be okay to not bother getting the side Moldings to line up correctly? Any yes, I have done it and know what it takes to do it. What it takes is a builder/owner to want to go the final Yard in making one of Ford's best models look like you care instead of Close is good enough.

  15. Thank You 19Fordy! Outstanding example and how Henry wanted them to be. Even your Hood to Grill is well done. Someone actually cared and knew what they were doing. Well Done!

  20. Yeah. I was fine with them but my dad insisted I needed new Drake boards. The original boards went to Iowa back in September. The front of my rear fenders have lots of impact marks from the old rubber chunking off the boards. Here's one for old time's sake, Ed. CrossingMuddyWaters.jpg and ricocheting off of them.

She could definitely use a hood alinement. If truth be told, it’s “passenger side” hood trim mounted on the drivers side. Sometimes you have to make due with what you have.

A little trick that I learned, when you close the hood and its at the part when one side or the other drops into the fender. Push the high side in on the bottom of the side next to the fender and watch that side drop down also. Then you can latch the hood and it will latch a lot easier also. 09683A13-B9C8-48FB-B03A-9309FDA17689.jpeg

Thanks VF-1, when I was in A school in the Navy, I would draw pictures of the Scan 27.jpeg parts of the 40 Ford, just loved them from building models before I could drive.
