The Only Deuce I Ever Owned And It Will Have To Do For Ever...
Here are my three.
I've had the 3 window in my avatar since 1980. Also have a Henry highboy roadster, project chopped highboy tudor and a new Brookville roadster just getting started. Wish I wasn't such a dum shit and could post pictures.
If only Henry was here to see what he started...
Yea all those 1932 Fords with Chevy engines in them. Henry would be proud!
No hard fast rules in building hot rods, some actually use Caddy engines in Buicks. HRP
here is my new addition happy birthday!
Well, not only just the body style, but for his persistence/insistence on introducing the 1932 one-piece cast, L Head V8...and the legacy that followed.
I’d say the deuce look aged very well—A tribute to to its design and innovation!
Happy 90th birthday!
my roadster now,
my second pick up I sold to my stepson,
my 1st pick up that went to Australia in '75
It is well known, but unproven, that Arkus Duntov designed the small block Chevy so it could be easily installed in a '32 Ford. A simple bell housing adapter and using the '32 V8 front motor mounts and now you have a reliable and fast Hot Rod. It fits so well. that it's hard to dismiss this rumor. LOL
Check out the bottom left of this phots. Genuine 1932 Ford forged motor mounts with minor modifications positions the sbc in the perfect place.
Thanks Henry Ford and Ryan for taking the picture.
Still doesn't make it RIGHT
Just kidding...nice looking 3 window
You did say post your "Deuces" right???
This sedan was one of my favorite cars, I ended up selling it to a gentleman in Tokyo. HRP
My 3W and Roadster, both original Henry Ford. Both have clutches and Chevy Small Blocks!
I did my friend, IMHO a Deuce is a Deuce regardless of it's pedigree, I'm sure some will disagree with
I never even dared to think that I might one day own a 1932 Ford of any kind.
Then I saw this for sale and already knew the history. Here it is when first parked in my driveway.
I bought it to go with this pickup I had lusted for for years and happened to be at the right spot at the right time in York and bought it on the spot.
Forgot the history.
It is the same car.
Yep, from 1959!
Here’s a few I’ve had in the past and the 3 window I have now
I later bought this one... at York, too!! Twas just too high tech for me but it was very nice. I replaced the painted mirrors and running boards as well as the Boyds to get what you see here. I also had it upholstered after I reworked the seats for a taller fella!
My all steel and mostly unrestored Tudor. Bought in 1999.
Original V8 car build in France.
Now with a 37 flathead and 39 box.
'32 Truck (built by Richard Graves). Tudor sedan.
My old pickup, it's in Texas now. HRP
Mine, Dads and two friends Deuces at Pistons and Paint 2021.
