    We all gotta remember 4th of July celebrations were first conceived and implemented by politicians like John Adams to celebrate independence from England .... I'm ok with that and will always have a hotdog for, in my particular case, my ancestor's that fought for that independence long, long ago.

    Your point is well taken... those who signed the Declaration could well have been accused of treason by Britain. They did risk all to create our country, and for that -- and to those today who serve and protect -- we must be grateful and give thanks.
