the F-1 named bubba was a close one too..
When I noticed the Vanilla Ice videotape in the back window I knew this was a true contender.
The car looks amazing.
WHAAAAT!! you left your birthday gift in the back window?
dont you know VHS melts in the sun!
I'm pretty sure he had constructed a special sun-shade to protect it.
That's why I won.
The car looked great, I went back a few times to check it out today!
This awesome car was so traditional and period perfect that it made people cry.
Even it's trailer was traditional.
Just a perfect hot rod. Everyone may as well quit now.
I wanted to say Thanks to you for starting this show. It has been pretty inspirational to me.
Again, a big THANK YOU! to you and what a gorgeous and tastefully done car.
It was ironic that you were drowned out for a second by that rat rod. that sucked
That's awesome. But, I really want to know what that shirt says...
it says, i love wavy wishbones...
Your car deserved the award Kirk...we looked at it like if we didn't know whose car it was and we were walking around the show, which car would blow us away....and there were maybe 4 or 5 customs that did it....and a handfull of hot rods too....anyway congratulations!
BTW...I had help with the trophy...Gunar and Don Murray did a lot of the fab stuff while I was hungover last weekend! I just finished it! Should have included a long chain so you could use it as a boat anchor....60 lbs!!!!
Im going to be sick...
Yeah, Kirk is pretty ugly!
thanxs kirk for all these great years,
the custom comp year is the one that stands out in my mind !
so glad the starliner is running good now ,congrats !
the trophy is well deserved, you tropy whore you ha ha ha !
I wish there were a thousand of me to put with that car. COOLAMUNDO!!!!!
EXACTLY like the '50s!!!!!
Hey, KIRK!, glad to see that you are finally getting some good taste.
Obviously that was Photoshopped. I wouldn't be caught dead next to that pile of crap!
All that pic is missing is that Sailor Girl...
(someone PLEASE photoshop that in!!)
I saw that same T-shirt on my last trip to Japan ... the Japanese love to mix & match seemingly un-related English words ... kinda like "May Cause Dangerous" ???
Now, now boys ... can't the two of you just get along?!
I am so inspired by this radical car.... but you know what? I think can top it. Mine is gonna be even MORE radical... lower, FOUR headlights... even MORE rust. YES! I have seen the light. Thank you Billetproof for changing my life.
Thats funny...........out of maybe 12-1300 cars the one ol skool rod that showed up gets people going...no wonder people build this crap.
It drives me crazy when I see people pouring over stuff like that thing.
Kirky, you gaining wieght? Looks like a good time was had by all. Congrats on the trophy! Gonna make it out east anytime soon? We'd love to see you out here.
Brewsir, always kinda wondered where ya got that name. I wonder no more, ur a big dude! Congrats Kirk on the trophy, that Starliner rocks.
Yeah, I'm no longer my thin sexy self.
I'll be in South Carolina soon, but not Florida.
Kirk I had to of gone back to look at your car ten times. From the paint to the interior every detail on that car is perfect. Love the steering wheel. The only time I saw you you were getting a haircut so I didn't want to bother you.
Shit, I'm always stoked to say hi. Even when I'm getting a haircut.
Kirk, Congrats on the award and having not only a creative eye along with the support of Alex and friends to build a truely amazing car but the determination to see it fully through...Its post like yours Alex's & Evel's that give many of us the inspiration for our projects--Thank you.
Its dudes like you who are the backbone of this hobby & lifestyle!!
