th350 shift points

have a question for you all....I have a th350 tans and it shifts little late, I know I can corect it from the vacum modulator but what direction does it make it shift sooner....thx all

 

counterclockwise....??? that's just a guess, you're loosening the screw which relaxes the spring and makes it easier for vacuum to move the diaphragm, so it will think there's less load on the engine and shift sooner.

If that doesn't work, turn it the other way. Or play with the governor. or fix the vacuum leak. etc
