    today saw the cowl welds finished, the doors finally fitting and latching, pulled the drive shaft and putting longer yoke on it for the 4 speed. wrapped up the fire bottle plumbing and push bar built , ride height set for last time. here is a pic of our trick air cleaner set up. bought a nascar deal from roush, and built a intake from inside grille over rdiator to the air cleaner from closed cell foam and fiberglass, should be killer air box is carbon fiber and large 14 inch air cleaner element in it. all under the hood . smoooooooth and fast..4 days left ....:cool:

    111 today, bout to kill us, but............ got the deck lid on chute on and workin push bar painted and done, both hood sides dzus fastners on and on car all 4 pcs, top tomorrow. and shifter boot done, and drive shaft in rotors off to safety wire tonight and finish it up tomorrow. then off to have it scaled and aligned and ready to load and go to Texas. here is the ass end of it with lid and chute on it.... and power went off at 3.20 today from the heat 113 tomorow.. cant f....n wait..:cool:

    power is back on and down to a modest 109 degrees. ehhehe went down and turned everything off and snapped a few more pics from today , here ya go...:cool:

    Very Kool, I heard about this from a mutual friend I think. If so you should recruit Ole Larry S. to help. He is good in the heat on a lawnmower.

    hey BScott, yea he is afraid of going over 65 mph, needs ac and a trailer. comes by it naturally i think i worked for his dad for 10 yrs or so. ehhehe. sure would like to get some flyers done up for my race in oct. hint hint.... come to bonneville and enjoy yourself man... sam

    spent the day fitting the tonneau covers back on after paint, nothing ever fits next time around haha... hood is dame way and will finish it tomorrow then off to scale it....

    The Texoma Flyer is done, and ready for alignment and chassis scale and set up here are some pics in the light of day . I think it turned out bitchin!!!!!!!!! thanks, sam

  27. Where did you get a SHOP RAG sticker. I thought I had the only remaining one on my Centerfold Model A.

    it was on the tonneau cover that came off of a texas car , a black 32 ford roadster c/str bruce bought it for this car and we modified it to work on the 29 and left the decals on it................:cool:
