thrashing too. motor , trans, some rear end work, cut the down bars out for new headers and fab some new ones and change the ignition over to msd from mallory and add a trans brake set up and replumb the fuel system, as of tonight one week .. hope to see ya there with it in tow..........

 

Hey, I know a bunch of you guys are as excited about the upcoming Thaw as I am. Just checked the 10 day weather forecast for Denton. Says overnight low in the upper 50's next weekend, daytime high in the mid 70's, partly cloudy, with no rain or high winds. Sounds like good drag racin' weather to me! Don't know about y'all, but my ol' engine just loves to run when it's dry and cool. See ya in the pits.

Well the dirtys were at a stupid swap meet all day yesterday and didnt score anything we needed . So 1 wasted day , now I really need to get to work ! As Danyelle says " now your really mad at me ".

Well, my daughter missed state by one round, I got the hood built and the tunnel ram installed, the car is almost ready to run, everything was right on schedule, until........
My mother in law passed away this morning, so I will be joining my wife in Ohio tomorrow or the next day and wont be able to make it to the Thaw.
I need someone to take over my job of classifying cars on Saturday. If there is anyone intersted in sacrificing a few hours Saturday morning telling people which class they are going to be in please contact me.

 

Daniel (TheShocker) has stepped up saying he would be happy to take over my responsibilities classifying cars at the Texas Thaw. Thank you Daniel, I owe you big time. If there is anyone that would like to help Daniel classify cars let me know. I hate it that I dumped this in Daniel's lap at the last minute, I would fell better if I knew he wasnt going to have to do this alone, although I know that he is more than capable.
Other than driving down the track yourself what could be more fun that having people bring cool cars to you to look at? If you want to give Daniel a hand PM me.
