    Randy - I didn't know the difference between a '63 & '65, UNTIL NOW. Sometime the less 'I KNOW', the better...... ;);););)

Now THAT I might be able to bring. 3 and a half screaming horsepower to carry my 250+. (the screaming is the belt slipping.)

BTW, when is the Decatur Swap Meet?

Decatur is Feb 20-22, the weekend after Autorama, which is Feb 13-15, and the weekend before The Thaw.

I'm up for it if I find a ride! I've been looking for an old mini for my kiddo(at least that's the story I tell the wife). I just gotta find one. Been all over craigslist for the last few weeks and no joy. No rules as far as engine mods/fuel? I'm gonna assume it has to be "lawn equipment" powered.

Uh-oh. The gears in my head are spinning....I have a lot of my old flattrack stuff gathering dust. Wonder if I could shoehorn a 600+cc Honda thumper motor into an old mini bike frame between now and then???

    Sam,

Be really glad having the Central State Gassers with us at the Texas Thaw this year. Had a great time watchin' y'all at the Labor Day race up in Ardmore last fall. Your group's cool cars will fit right in at this event, and you can try your luck against Danny Graham and Tommy James and some of the stellar Texas gassers.

The Thaw is presented by the Torques Car Club of Dallas. It will be the first event in the 2009 Texas Timing Association Nostalgia Circuit. TTA is still booking other events for later in the season.

I love seeing gassers run. I ran C/Gas for years before I moved on up to running Fuel Roadsters like I do now.

    Y'all come!
