Thats a great Commercial, I heard its going to be run on ESPN during the NHRA national events. It looks like The Texas Timing association is really putting on a big show this year. It will be great to race with everybody again one more time before the season is over ! Looks Like were heading to San Antone...

Looks like a potential preview of the final round of Top Eliminator at the Texas State Championship race! The quickest eight cars on the property will be eligible to run for T/E. These two hometown heroes, Donny Anderson and Randy Wilson, are a sure bet to be hot runners at the event in their classic San Antonio-based AA/FD's.

for those of you that have never been to this track, it's a work of art. 330 feet of concrete, laser straight, and flypaper sticky from line to line. the fact that a track of this caliber is willing for us to come down and take over for a day is well worth the support.

I, personally, would like to thank the T.T.A. for putting this event on> this type of event requires hundred of man hours, and these guys are doing it purely for the glory of having done so, on a volunteer basis.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you there!

  22. This will be a great event. And real close to my backyard. Went to index races last nite and lined up a few newbies to come and a few stripe jobs too. As long as I'm near the rest rooms cause when da insulin kicks, I gotta go.

    $20 for admission?

Think I'll take a few trips around the venue and head over to the Alamo.

If you haven't been to the Alamo, you should go. It's a sacred place where 186 Texans and Americans gave their lives in the name of Freedom.

It won't, however, have the smell of nitro and burning rubber. I think that $20 sounds pretty cheap for all of the racing, swap meet, bands etc. that'll be going on.

Looks like 72 and earlier Tim, bring that Nova down and pull some wheelies John is getting way cocky. We're going Friday nite and want to figure a way for everyone to pit together, any ideas?
