Thanks Tim for starting this thread, It has been a super busy last few months getting this event ready to go again, Here is the awesome artwork fliar that Mike Shoaf AKA Slide here on the Hamb has drawn up for us again. It will be our 3rd annual and keeps getting better and better.

How long has Yellow Belly been a dragstrip? I used to go by there all the time in the early 70's, and it looked well used then!

Was it built and used for something else before it became a race track? Looks like some kind of loading dock maybe?

 

The posters Slide did for us this year blow the last 2 away! Just wait

 

it was built as a farmers market.

Thanks Rusty, we've had a blast at the last two, and would really like to see the drags in the DFW area grow and continue.

 

What does it cost for spectators? Will there be a car show area? I saw that there is a swap meet area.

 

Yes there will be a car show area again this year, it really worked out great last year, ten bucks to spectate, ten bucks to race

For those that havent been yet here's a couple pics. This deal has really blown up quick, thanks to all the support. Come check it out and see why...
