Thinking back I never did post an intro... (Shame on me)

    Here it goes.

Been in Texas for a few years now.

My name is Alex. I'm 16, started welding about a year ago. My Dad really brain washed me at younger age into liking cars and I thank him for it every day.

I got bit by the traditional bug when I was 14 ish?

I bought a chopped 1950 Ford Coupe back in may '09 with the intent to making it into a very traditional early 60's custom ('60-'63) ish? Its been in the works for what seems like forever now.

I'm currently building this mini bike for the LSRU (Lone Star Round-Up) this year should be done by then, I might have it for sale down there. Dunno?

I've only been on here a short time, compared to you, but welcome and continue to enjoy.

Hey I am 50 and I started working on cars with my older brothers when I was about 12. My dad ask me why could I not be on drugs like the rest of the kids no every time he needed me I was in the garage or at the wrecking yard down the street . I had a job to support my habit and I would try to learn all I could from the older guys around me. I made friends that I still have and had alot of fun and still do. Stay humble and learn all you can because the math and science you are learning in school will help with your car projects and never be afraid to ask questions and respect ol dad and you will have a lot of good times . I like that shoe box and that scoot is the bomb !!
