you pasted the test
I can't even figure out the thumbnails thing - don't see how-to in FAQ's.... Hint anyone?
The thumbnails are a result of "attaching" a picture from your computer (after uploading it during your post using Attach Files > Manage Attachments)
They show up smaller; then when clicked on, they enlarge
The large pictures that many have in their posts are linked to a picture on a hosting site such as Photobucket, flickr, etc, usually free; but read the rules
Also, read this..... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=6
very first topic lets you try out different methods
Getting closer I guess - it enlarges but does not say it is a thumbnail...
good job and the right size photo.
If only there were a section devoted to this exact thing.
check the size of the pic you've uploaded. If you used the same one as your avatar, it wont end up being a thumbnail
When setting up a picture to use as an avatar, it's best to save the reduced size by a new name so that the original is maintained.
from this page...
1. they must be a perfect square 80X80 pixels
2. They must be 7kb ( killobytes )or less...thats 7000 bits
Still don't get the thumbnail text business - at least I don't have to self host any more..... Peeps will just have to figure out it is a thumbnail - even though it does not say thumbnail....
Fig'd it out - was missing the "Submit reply" step...
Hey man get that UGLY thing out of the garage LOL...
The way you are now doing it is ok, people can click on it to enlarge it if they want. I use Photobucket to hold my pictures, it is free, and when you post them they come up full size.
If you do use photobucket you can PM me and I will walk you through the process.
No NOT THE DART!!!!
Think of it this way - now HAMB peeps don't have to see the full size DART pics unless they want to..... As if my COE is anymore handsome.....
well if its alright I'm going to shot a test also...
