    Thanks for your info! Here is PRC Radiator that I had bought for my new 34 Chevy Standard Roadster build and maybe will help on your future Chevy builds! PRC builds radiators for all years of Chevy vehicles! Here is their link: http://prchotrod.com/

  3. Flatmotor, glad to hear that you got that resolved. Things may be going slow, but they are now moving in the right direction. Remember the tortoise and the hare and who got to the finish line first. Slow and steady does it every time.:D

    Those engine and frame serials are for GMH produced built cars. Here is what I could located for US built models.

    1934 U.S. CHEVROLET MOTOR SERIAL NUMBERS BY MONTHS

    Prefixes:
    • 'M' FOR "STANDARD";
    • 'MR' for RHD Standard although Canadian Walkerville assembled RHD Standard motors were evidently prefixed 'RM' which should be the case for Flint assembled units;
    • 'K' for Master Series COMMERCIAL;
    • 'T' for Truck;
    • 'R' for RHD Master Series;
    • 'RT' for RHD trucks. Trucks used Master series motors although export vehicles may have used either series; and
    • 'RK' for RHD Commercial.

    Building the door. The bar in the middle of the door is temporary to hold everything in shape and will be replaced with some different framing which will hold the electric window mechanism in place

    Rear Door hinged now (hinges on RHS as we drive on other side of the road to you guys) Theres still lots of work to do to get the door gaps right and theres still an eyebrow to go over the top of the door - will match the ones over the side doors.
    Body lines are spot on.

    And another pikky to show how clever the guy is.

    Being clumsy and fortunate not to trip over my own feet on a regular basis, Im just in awe at how good some folk are at metalwork, and how they make it look so easy.

    Is it safe to assume there’s a thread regarding wood removal and the different ways these Chevys are braced up? I’m in the process and would LOVE to see some pics of this done

    Hey Eddie - Looks like you're moving along on your coupe! Just placed the body back down on mine temporarily and decided that we need to work on my A pillars big time so the doors will close as intended. Greg and I got some needed measurements to see where my hemi will need to be mounted, once we move the firewall back close to the cowl band. The supercharger will go back on eventually, so we're planning for this and allowing room for the blower pulleys. Man, you should see how tough the QC rear looks like in full view without the gas tank hiding it...

    Local 4 door converted into a tudor. Fisher bodied tudors went to NZ however GMH here only produced more doors.

    Mark I like those chrome headlights on that green Chevy UTE. Was thinking about changing my headlights for that style chromed!
    Would you have a contact for that chromed headlights and a new glass lenses contact to fit my 34 Chevy Stock headlights just in case I might keep them?
    Making progress on my 34 Chevy Holden Roadster build! Made some custom fab motor mounts for my 400 SBC motor and a new floor panels to fit over my 700R4 trans plus all installed steering column with a new banjo steering wheel. Notice that there is very little hump in my IMG_20190416_094850.jpg IMG_20190418_152805.jpg IMG_20190418_153442.jpg new floor panel mainly because I got the motor as far forward as possible in my build!

    Here is my new 700R4 custom fab Transmission mounting plate on my 34 Chevy Holden Roadster build!
    Easy to work on and very strong. I got two 1/4 inch tab plates welded to the x-member tubes. One on each side. The tabs are 1/4" and the mount is 3/8" thick.
    Ties in the x-member plus gives the maximum opening clearance to drop out the big 700R4 trans with ease!
