Funny how I get ragged on for saying a car is so nice that should not be wrecked and told that this is a hot rod site and not a restoration site and then a few posts later one who agreed with that posts a bunch of restoration stuff. :D

One step forward and three steps back. SD5.jpg

Despite my measuring twice, the door opening was too large.

So more cutting up of the work just done, more measurements done and more folk joining in with the "stand back, look and then offer an opinion" thing, till we thought we has the proportions looking okay again

Getting there. First pikky with the rear window filled in.

Rear of car will come up about 4 inches when the new diff goes in and we should have an okay hot rod rake happening. Car will remain fenderless, tho not with the Centerlines and slicks. Will have 15*10s and 31 tall tyres instead.

And the back door is still "in progress. Door framing by Grub.jpg Rear Door 2.jpg
The rear door lines follow the window shape as Im not keen on a squarish rear door. And it hinges from the right as we drive on the LH side of the road down here.
