I'm 60 miles north of you in Paris near Kentucky Lake. The antique guys used to do something at the fairgrounds in May I think. Rod run at the fairground in April has some old bodies and parts.

The M'boro cruise in was THE place to be when it was at the Stones River Mall. Some nights there were as many as 600 cars there. The Mall went from being a ghost town on Friday nights to having to hire many new workers and brought in quality shops thanks to the cruise in. Once they got the Mall rolling again they kicked the cruise in off the premises. The only parking lot big enough to host the cruise in..... and willing to work with the club was Roses. Attendance has been down at Roses because of the neighborhood but more importantly because of all the road construction around it. All that mess should be done when the new season kicks off!

We are in Ooltewah, Tn. just north of Chattanooga. I don't know how I missed this thread either? We try to go to the Courthouse Cruise In in Cleveland, Tn. during the summer, and the GoodGuys shows that are close by. Most of the winter is usually getting something new built. Those are the "Shop Gaurd Dogs" don't they look mean??

    Later,

Been here physically for the last 45yrs. but my soul still resides in the mountains of East Tennessee. Hope that counts for something.....Don.

White House, or Wot Hayols as some of we locals might pronounce it. Just down the road from the famous , or is it infamous(ha), GATOR.

Hey can TN Hambers recommend a good metal man that can work sheetmetal with minimal mud(bondo). Even if they are in a neighboring state. Some one that will take the time to do it right and minimize mud slinging.

our Mayor has ruined the city and this area is listed as having the highest crime rate in the country. there is a mass exodus going on here as i speak and i don't like the 6800 a year in property taxes. the counties surrounding the greater Memphis area are booming like crazy and most of the car guys have gone to Tipton and Fayette counties. i was born and raised here and have never left this state only for shows and vacations, but it is time to take my family out west where the cars never rust and the hills are filled with gold!!!

you didnt say memphis, you said tennessee. we dont hardly consider memphis tennessee. my wife went to college in memphis and i would never go to visit her because i hated it so much. i once went 6 months without seeing her, man i miss those times. that being said, i concur lostn51 memphis is an armpit, and you win!

We need an informal volunteer state Hamber meeting, somewhere fun, most likely in the middle. How does a Saturday lunch in Lynchburg sound.
