as most of you know, i have relocated to austin, tx. . . . . this past weekend, i was finally able to get a little work done on the telstar. not a hell of a lot, but it sure felt good to get at least something accomplished. i removed the skin from the deck area, modified the framework, and raised the deck area 1 1/2". . . . might not sound like a huge amount, but it made a big difference in the overall flow. . .a few pics, , , , more to come as i progress, , ,

Great to see Telstar threads again!

Any plans on modifying the shape or the back end of the deck? Still has a reminscence of being a hood.

    Nice!

In about 2 months you will have to quit on it again because it will be too hot to work on it.

I think that I will hold out and be the last person to move to Austin. ha ha ha

Glad to see you're back at it! Keep the progress pictures coming!

  20. If you were still here in NJ you'd have plenty of time to work on the car. The only other thing to do in this snotty weather is shovel snow......... that's just my jealousy talking. 'Glad to see you're back on the case, it's looking good.

Congrat's on your relocation to warmer climes. With every little tweak you make it looks better and better. What a long strange trip it's been!

I to had a '58 Chevy moment when I first saw it. And as far as the move to Austin, well, if it's OK to hate someone you've never met, consider yourself hated.;)
