    with all the welding you do it might be wise to just run a hard line to the supply store. i am anxious to see the other sid get finished.

    lol....you are right about that,,,
    this IS the other side...
    thats why the post is called "dark side of the moon",,up until now the only work i had done (besides the sectioning) was on the other side..

    whole lotta weldin' goin' on, , , got the fin 2/3 of the way welded solid, welded in the front of the hood, welded in the filler piece above the wheelwell, , , buy stock in welding wire guys!!, , , just takin a little breather, and back to welding, welding, and guess what?, , , MORE welding. . .

  15. Jim, this is the new hood opening shape, yeah? I really like it. Reminds me of 57-58 Eldorado Brougham (not that I've seen one in a long time!). Front or rear opening?

    thanks everyone for all the great comments, , , it really means a lot to me, , little by little, the car will get finished, , sometimes the amount of work left to do feels a little overwhelming, , but it's slowly gettin there, ,
