Telephone Bed

This one is mine, found it at an auction cut down to a trailer. Axle was Chevy/GMC 1/2 ton 6 lig.

1952 telco service bed


I U 76 on data plate.


Required a lot of work, including fabricating a new roof. Went on an off-topic truck. Served me well, it has toured 37 states.

 

I'll be picking this one on Saturday..always wanted one..I have 2 AD trucks it can go behind of.

 

I recently found a telephone bed and came across this thread. It’s looks to all original it is a Highway trailer co. Brand in pretty good shape for a rebuild project

 

I found a 1957 Highway trailer co telephone bed is ther much interest in these I would say it’s 80 percent there to my knowledge

 

Soo Cool I recently found that exact box minus the pickup but I’m missing the same shelf !

 

i bought this last fall with the intention of putting it on my 40 chevy truck. anybody have an idea what these weigh?
