Stunning work as always Pete ......!!!
When there is a will there is a way. Thanks for sharing your skills and project.
Here are two. I have posted pictures of it in the Banger thread at the time I was running it.
Great work! Thank you for sharing the process.
Being a machinist for over 45 years, I can appreciate the hell outta your skill. Very nice!
Very cool and impressive! Love the look of the twin plugs. We also tried to do something a little different (especially since the old Flatty mags are so expensive - and we had a SBC mag on the shelf - we did have to change the rotation)
Better start making room in the shop for first place from Tech Week!
Beautiful work....I'm looking forward to the next set of photos..
very awesome Idea, great work.
Very cool!!! Those twin plugs heads would have me wondering when those were made!!!
wow! that is amazing.
so whats your address so i can send you mine
Nice work, gotta love a twin plug flattie
Some interest? Ya gotta be shitting me! Well done my Brit friend, well done. Hmm, now to figure that out for my MEL engine.
Madness I tell you!
Proof positive everything hasn't been done.
That's friggin' AWESOME!!!
Awesome motor to go into an awesome hot rod.
So crafty!! Very nice work!!
Awesome Pete. Simply awesome.
Wow. Too cool.
That's extremely ambitious and impressive. Very cool.
....a sick, sick mind at work (and I mean that in a good way). Real hot rodding right there and it's beyond awesome....
The new plugs can't protrude past the head to maintain clearance from the piston. I've set them as far down as I could then opened up the hole so as not to shroud the plug.
Very nice work. Looking forward to seeing the end with it all put together!
I had the adapters cast up. Have a look at the car build up here http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=737344 and the bit about the adapters is on page four.
Thanks to everyone for all the positive comments, much appreciated.
