To get it, you would have to have been a bystander to another exchange... It's stupid...
Thank God.... I thought I was stupid for a minute.
It's not you. It's me.
I don't know Ryan, I like the McDonald's Double Mullet Fish Sandwich, Micky D's gift card would make a great runner up prize. HRP
BTW, Thanks John for bringing the subject of a tech week up. HRP
We always call that a "location joke" - you had to be there.
Ask BlueOne as he's been looking to move down south...
A tech on that header jig you made, how you made it, how it works, and how you made headers with it would be on top of my list! The bending brake you did as well.
I remember that one! (I don't think it was for a minibike)
I remember thinking at the time, shit, that's a good idea.
Yours was good too.
What time does it end for all the great post from australia or new zea land down in the far south west???? I think they r a day ahead of us. And what about the Europe members. Some really nice stuff for us followers.
noted: you didn't say "finish carpentry and finish bodywork"
I ❤ this post!
Don't suppose that Tech Posts can have their own sub-title, like in a couple-past HAMB-versions ago? Made it easier to find them. I get that photobucket debacle ruined most old posts, but I really do miss that easy availability. There *were* some->really<- good posts... ;( . Thanks for bringing this back.
To the winner, Lloyd's Autobody and Glass is throwing in a bottle of Woodford Reserve from right here in Kentucky.

If posters add the Technical prefix when they are creating their posts ,which they should, then if you click on the Thread Display Options tab at the bottom of the main page, then the Prefix drop down and select Technical then click on set options all you will see is threads that have been labelled with the technical prefix.
This is good news!!
Thanks. Learn something everyday.
k13, thanks a lot for that little tutorial! I was going to ask that these tech threads be labelled as such for when I search. A lot of the time I find good tech stuff labelled with non tech titles like " Did Something in the Garage Today" or "Discovered Something New". The first example conjures up a whole range of thoughts and the second example could be that the person tested Lysol on a friend as a cure for Covid (the friend died of poisoning so the Covid was "cured"!)
So now I can research in a little more focussed way!
Were all winners with all the information we'll get
@Ryan maybe another stipulation for tech week threads should be they have to use the Technical prefix so they are easier to find later on.
Please this time around can we limit the entries to real tech not something like making a Mickey Mouse air conditioner using a picnic cooler and some ice cubes
Maybe a sticky post that only Tech week threads are linked too and no replies allowed? More work for the Mods, just a suggestion.
Guess I can use the Duct Tape on something else.
I love tech week.
Is modern tech that can be used on the good old stuff welcome too?
Thank you, Ryan, for re-booting Tech Week. I've been procrastinating sharing something with the H.A.M.B., and this is just the incentive to get my butt off the bench and display something truly useful.
I hate to show my ignorance but how exactly do you post something on the HAMB, besides what I'm doing right now?....Could it possibly be that big red button on the bottom right corner of the page that says "Post New Thread"?
