    Bright lights

I have those teardrops for years in my rearfenders but never liked the light coming out, especially the brakelights. It is also due to the fact that they are on an angle to the viewers. So now I copied an idea from my good friend Mel from England. Halogen rear brakelights, the ones that you use in your ceiling, they are 12V and they work great. It is a bit of fiddling to get them in that small house but the results are very good. So now I hope I am beng noticed when I hit the brakes.

Neat idea, do those get hot enough to melt a plastic lense?

Well Bob, I wont recommend plastic lenses. After a while using them constantly, you can fry an egg on it. But the halogen are for stopping and turning only. You can also go for lower watts.

Good luck with it, and dont set your tail on fire
