Hey , just did a few advanced searches, could not find any mock up or tech on buildinga wheel / tire combo mock up like the "wheel rite" or some such thing, i'm interested in seeing if anyone has built such a beast, seeing it's tech week, now's the perfect opportunity.

    Thanks,
    Derek

I started with a wire coat hanger to simulate the tire but had some very close clearances so I did it this way. I already knew what tires I was going to run.

Take an old steel wheel, drill out the rivets knock the center out and reinstall it rotated 45° so you can move it around as needed. Tape up the rivet holes on the rim, mount a tire (I used a couple of pry bars and some WD40) and you have the whole package.
