don't know if we are going to run polished wheels or black
wish I could find some steel 19.5s with the 8 on 6.5 BP near us
students said they like polished lip with black centers and chrome caps and lugs

the fronts are 17.5 in the picture

That's awesome! Keep the kids excited about the skilled trade! We need more that are hungry and driven. They are doing a great job!
I wish my shop class in school was more like your class. Mine was full of tobacco chewing mouth breathers who wanted their Hondas lowered or their trucks jacked up. No hot rods except mine at school.

it just depends on how you focus their interests
it was the 'lifted truck' and 'Honda' students that helped us all day yesterday

Maybe we as a whole here are more or less becoming just a bunch of grumpy old men anymore???

sometime its easier to believe the negative
young folks are just as stupid now as we were then, they just document it for some reason
anyway, if I needed attention I would have built a 32

Seems like I had more fun when I was young enough not to know any better:D
...and by the way, 32s are cool but this old bus would grab my attention more if I were walking the rows at a show;)

  21. Well done sir!!! Have you taken it for run yet. Is the inside full of seats? Are you going to be able to use it with your students?

hoping to test run later today
    will install the seats tomorrow
we are driving this bus(hopefully) 450 miles to Charlotte NC for a science exposition this Friday
we are taking abut 10 students with us(they will follow in a van for school ins reasons) they will ride in it into the show area

  23. Okay you are getting way more slack then they would ever give by me. I graduated high school in 1998. Even then this would have been shot down before it was ever started. They were scared of there own shadow. I do think the tide is changing back then all they pushed was college. Now we have a shortage of trade labor and this I know from experience. Looking back I sure am happy that I went to work full time after school. Safe travels and Gods speed.

I have a hunch that is what the students say about Mr. Myrick too.
