Tech Help: SUEDE Single Stage PAINT??? Or FLATTENING Agent??

    i dont think dbu is a urethane. and it uses a reactive reducer.

    true, iirc it was ppg's first universal base coat system. predicessor to the dbc(2000) system that used the regualr dt series reducers.
    i used the dbu system for years, it was good stuff in the day, though i cant imagine using it on a overall without clear. you guys must have a trick up your sleeve, or real good luck

    Maybe Doug at Squeegs could mix a custom blend of his super duty epoxy primer for you. Water proof, freakin' durable.....have to ask him about UV quality though. I don't remember.

    On my F-100, I knocked down the sheen a bit more with a scotchbrite pad. It was perfect for me.

    I'd think it would be awesome for a buggy. Ooops. Or, whatever.
