    NICE TECH!! I wish I would have known [or thought] about the beads. I did a major floor rebuild and put no bead or bends into it. There are a few cases where I get the "POP" noise due to the lack of beading. The template idea is great too...I used cardboard. Next time I'll use the drop lite under the car, and a thinner material!! I also did not have the aid of a sheet metal break or sheet metal sheers. All hand done with hamber, gloves and snips.

    love this tech! question tho... you say you got drops from your local heating place. are you using galvanized metal?

    No its not galvanized, they call it black iron, dunno why though, its not black and its not iron either:D.

    I'm kinda lucky when it comes to drops, our local hvac place does fabrication for the local factories, they use all kinds of metal including stainless.

    thanks for the answer. didnt think you were using galvanized, but since thats all the heat and a/c shops use around here, i had to ask.

    Nothing to be scared of, even if your screwing it up your still learning something.
