Hot Rods teardrop rebuild

Today my stepsons decided to rebuild the '48 Kit tear drop trailer I gave the youngest when he bought my 32 pickup. The first picture show the rotten old wood. The rest show the rebuild in progress.


and this is the truck and trailer in2004 at the March meet.

Restored one in the 80's and Polyform made copy of original fenders.

 

I love old teardrop campers. I WILL have one someday to tow behind my Shoebox.

 

I did the same job on a '47 Kit for a buddy of mine. Now I get to use it whenever I want! It looks just like that '48, of course. I'll try to come up with some pics soon.
