  3. Love that coupe! Clean and simple. Any plans to do anything else to it? Possibly paint?

I'd love to put it in glossy black some day. I just have my '38 in the works... and that project keeps getting stalled due to budget, etc... But eventually...

  5. Friendships like that are a rarity and worth more than any car. You are blessed. I met Keith at GNRS last year. He seems like a genuine good guy. Oh yeah, the coupe looks just right!

  12. Really cool. I was able to remove the chalky crap from my flat black with green scotchbrite pads and soapy water. I wanna see the coupe in person some day.

Nicely done little car you have there.

Don't forget about the other black Ford coupe you own.

    See ya, -Abone.

Ryan, don't know what the coupe paint is, but maybe you can do a cut and polish. Depending on the particular paint, the results can be fantastic. The H.A.M.B., chopped maroon 32 sedan with the black wire wheels from Tucson, was originally painted flat maroon, but Mike (El bombero) the owner/builder didn't like it. After a cut and polish it looked fantastic.....shiny, but more of a subtle shiny.

Build shots are awesome and that's a beautifully executed Hotrod. You are very fortunate and the backdrop is pretty is stunning as well...Some things you just don't tire of...

It doesn’t get much better than that for being a HotRod . I say it a million times a year, the worst thing I did was put shiny paint on my car and sell my American 5 spoke Mags . Keep it running and enjoy the ride !

I still have never heard a better sounding flathead than yours.

I still get a little teary-eyed reading that original story. Awesome friendship.

Honest to god, I've never driven a flathead that runs as hard either.

It's very hard to drive this car without driving it very hard.

I was only thinking of your Coupe this week. I am building a 32 chassis to put under my Model A coupe at the moment. Is there an original build thread at all with details like axel drop, frame kick up, tyre sizes, steering box, roof chop...... and the rest?

That's truly one hell of a build/ relationship story. Who does that these days?
